A: Wax or shave at least 24 hours before tanning, this will give your skin a chance to calm down and the pores time to close. Also, avoid using hair removal creams and waxing when you have a faux glow as both will strip the tan from the skin in the areas they’re used.
Q: Do I need to shave or wax my hair before getting a spray tan if I only have light hair?
A: Spray tan does not only get onto your skin but also on any hair on your body. So, shave it off before your session. However, do not remove body hair too soon before your session. When you shave or wax your skin, your pores open up.

A: If your tan from the previous show is fading and spotty, do your best to exfoliate and scrub the rest off. If the previous tan is still consistent and holding well, just moisturize until 24 hours prior to your appointment.
